REFUND, CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This Policy summarises how cancellations, withdrawals, refunds, replacements and returns are handled for purchases from The Facade Collective OÜ, trading as Fools for Façades®. It must be read with the Subscription & Purchase Terms. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail.

1. Before requesting a refund
Please contact s.mighali@foolsforfacades.com with your order number, account email and a clear description of the issue. For damaged printed products, include photographs of the packaging and item where reasonably possible.

2. Digital single issues and immediate digital access
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online contract. However, where you expressly requested immediate supply of digital content and acknowledged at checkout that the withdrawal right would be lost once supply began, the change-of-mind right may end when access is provided.

This does not affect remedies where the digital content is not supplied, cannot be accessed, is defective or does not conform to the description.

If the required express consent and acknowledgement were not obtained, or access has not begun, we will apply the statutory withdrawal rules.

3. Digital subscriptions
You may cancel future renewal at any time through the account area, where available, or by emailing s.mighali@foolsforfacades.com. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then.

Refunds for the current period are not normally provided after valid immediate access has begun, except where required by law, the service is materially defective, the subscription was duplicated, or we agree that exceptional circumstances justify a refund.

For a digital service started during the 14-day withdrawal period at your express request, a proportionate charge for the service already supplied may apply where permitted by law.

4. Single printed issues
Single printed newspapers, periodicals or magazines may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind withdrawal right under applicable EU consumer law. We nevertheless provide a remedy for an item that is damaged, defective, incorrect or not delivered.

Contact us promptly and, where possible, within 14 days of delivery or of the expected delivery date. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may offer a replacement, re-delivery, account credit or refund. This requested notice period does not reduce any longer statutory rights relating to non-conforming goods.

5. Print subscriptions
EU/EEA consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for a subscription contract, subject to the applicable rules on when the period starts and any goods already delivered.

To withdraw, notify us clearly within the statutory period. If a printed issue has already been delivered, we will provide return instructions where a return is legally required. You may be responsible for direct return costs if this was disclosed before purchase, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

After the statutory period, cancellation normally prevents the next renewal and does not create a refund for the current term, unless the subscription is discontinued, materially not supplied, or applicable law requires another remedy.

6. Automatic renewals
This section applies only where the checkout expressly states that a subscription renews automatically. You may cancel a future automatic renewal through the account area, where available, or by emailing s.mighali@foolsforfacades.com. If you believe a renewal was taken after a valid cancellation, contact us promptly. We will investigate and refund an incorrectly processed renewal.

A refund is not normally due merely because a renewal reminder was overlooked where the renewal terms were clearly disclosed and the charge was valid, except where local law provides otherwise.

7. Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing printed orders
Please report problems to s.mighali@foolsforfacades.com. We may request:

• your order number;
• the delivery address;
• photographs of damage or the incorrect item;
• confirmation from the postal or courier service where a parcel is marked delivered but not received.

Where the claim is valid, we will provide the remedy required by law, which may include replacement, re-delivery, price reduction or refund. You will not be charged return postage for a defective or incorrect item where we require its return.

8. Delivery delays and returned parcels
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. If a delivery is materially delayed, contact us so that we can trace or replace the shipment.

Where a parcel is returned because the address was incomplete, incorrect, refused or uncollected, we may charge reasonable re-shipping costs where permitted. If we issue a refund, we may deduct non-recoverable delivery costs where permitted and clearly disclosed.

9. How to exercise a statutory withdrawal right
Send a clear statement to s.mighali@foolsforfacades.com. Include your name, order number, product, order date and the date of your request. If a physical return is required, customer support will provide the correct return address. Do not send products to the registered office unless expressly instructed.

10. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or legally required. We aim to initiate the refund within 14 days after approval or after receipt of a valid withdrawal notice, as applicable. Where mandatory law requires an earlier or different deadline, that deadline applies. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.

For a valid statutory withdrawal, refunds will be made within the legally required period. Where goods must be returned, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or you provide evidence of return, where permitted by law.

11. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so that we can try to resolve the issue. This does not limit your right to contact your payment provider or exercise statutory rights. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of access while the matter is investigated.
